Chair's Message

It has been my honor to serve the patients and caregivers of Providence Health & Services for the past 11 years in a variety of rewarding roles. Each one has reinforced my appreciation for this exceptional organization, and strengthened my commitment to devote my skills to extending its success in any way that I can.

As friends and supporters of Providence, I know you all share my affinity for our mission, and for the fidelity our leaders have maintained to it over these many years. To help ensure the continued strength of that mission for another generation we have worked diligently in the Valley Service Area to design a more effective fundraising structure to boost our philanthropic success. By using our resources more efficiently and expanding our professional fundraising teams we have sought to instill a renewed vigor in our culture of gratitude.

Once again in 2017, each of you heard the call of our ministry caregivers and patients, and responded with a generosity that carried us to new heights of success. With major campaigns underway for Providence Tarzana Reimagined and the Minutes Matter Emergency Services Campaign at Providence Saint Joseph, we were in high-gear working on both of those groundbreaking efforts. Providence Holy Cross used its impressive fundraising momentum to make significant progress on its NICU initiative.

There truly is no higher calling than to help those in need. It is with pleasure and humility that I thank you for your extraordinary and visionary support for our ministries.
