Chair's Message

As the former chair of the Providence Saint Joseph Foundation board, it was my honor to observe up close the extraordinary work being done every day in that ministry. In my new role as chairman of the Board of Directors for Providence Health & Services Foundation/Valley Service Area, my perspective has broadened to encompass the enormity of the achievements taking place at all three of our San Fernando Valley ministries. This vantage point has given me a new appreciation for the extraordinary work being done throughout our region by the most talented caregivers we could hope to have in our medical centers.

Once again this year, our donors responded to the inpirational message of these dedicated individuals and helped us meet the many needs of our growing number of patients. Their outpouring of support helped to ensure our continued investment in the facilities and new technology, as well as support for caregiver training and direct care to members of our community.

Providence’s life-saving mission is what first drew me to get involved in this organization, and it is a legacy I am proud to share with friends and family whenever I can. For everyone who shares my passion for this incredible organization, I offer my sincere gratitude for your generous support and my continued commitment to use my voice and energy to continue our success well into the future.
